A24 has released the first teaser for Slayground, a new horror movie that places a macabre attraction at the center of a criminal investigation. Directed by Jeremy Saulnier, the film follows a man caught up in a massacre who must uncover what happened while trying to escape a police manhunt.
The movie is scheduled to hit theaters in the United States on January 29, 2027. A Brazilian release date has not yet been announced.
Slayground: Inside the Story of A24’s New Horror Movie
The story follows Metal Mike Graves, an actor who works at a horror attraction and wakes up surrounded by the bodies of his coworkers. With no memory of how the tragedy unfolded, he becomes the prime suspect in a massacre.
As a statewide manhunt gets underway, Mike must race against time to uncover the truth behind the murders. While trying to piece together what happened, he faces a disturbing possibility: the evidence may point directly to him.
Set in a haunted house, the film uses its eerie setting to explore the contrast between scares designed to entertain visitors and real-life violence. The story blends horror and crime thriller elements with a pursuit shaped by uncertainty.
